Child Safety Standards
Auxtra is a social music curation and discovery platform available on Google Play. We are committed to the safety and well-being of all users, especially children. Auxtra has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind on our platform.
1. Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Auxtra strictly prohibits any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any visual depiction involving a minor in sexually explicit conduct
- Grooming or solicitation of minors for sexual purposes
- Sextortion of minors
- Trafficking of children for sexual exploitation
- Any other content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers children
Any user found engaging in such activity will have their account immediately terminated, their content removed, and the activity reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
2. In-App Reporting Mechanisms
Auxtra provides in-app mechanisms for users to report concerns, including child safety issues:
- Report Profiles: Users can report any user profile directly within the app
- Report Comments: Users can report individual comments on any post
- Block Users: Users can block other users to prevent further interaction
All reports related to child safety are treated with the highest priority and are reviewed promptly. Users can also contact us directly at [email protected] to report child safety concerns.
3. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Policy
Auxtra takes the following actions to address CSAM:
- Any CSAM identified on our platform is immediately removed
- The associated user account is permanently terminated
- We report all instances of CSAM to NCMEC via their CyberTipline, in compliance with U.S. federal law
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to CSAM
- We preserve relevant evidence as required by applicable law
4. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Auxtra complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including:
- U.S. federal laws regarding the reporting of CSAM (18 U.S.C. § 2258A)
- The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) — our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
- Applicable state and international child safety regulations
We regularly review and update our practices to remain in compliance with evolving child safety standards and legal requirements.
